Description

The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation invites you to the Johnson Space Center on Saturday August 12th, 2017 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 111th Aero Squadron based at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, Texas. The 111th Aero Squadron is the oldest flying squadron in the Air National Guard and the second oldest flying squadron in the entire United States Air Force.

Known as the Ace-in-the-Hole, the 111th Aero Squadron has been called to action in every major conflict since World War II and has been tasked with numerous missions and provided unmatched pride, proficiency and professionalism.

All proceeds from the 111th Aero Squadron 100th Anniversary Dinner will benefit the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation. The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by a group of existing and former Texas National Guard members with the purpose of supporting the needs of those serving the great State of Texas during both peace and wartime. The Family Support Foundation has filled in the gaps where our Texas National Guard Members, citizen soldiers and airman, need it most.
