Accumulo Summit 2016 will be held on October 11th of 2016 in College Park, Maryland. Accumulo Summit 2016 is the third edition of the annual event that serves as the focal meeting point for the Apache Accumulo community. The last two annuals were highly successful, having a sold-out audience of over 300 attendees each.
Accumulo, originally developed at the National Security Agency, is a high performance NoSQL database with cell-level security controls. After being open sourced in late 2011, Accumulo became a top-level project at the Apache Foundation in the spring of 2012 and is currently being used throughout the Federal Government and by various private sector companies.
There are multiple breakout tracks to accommodate attendees of different levels of experience. The sessions are rich with technical content about current Accumulo projects and are beneficial in learning about real world applications of Accumulo. Prospective attendees, speakers, and sponsors are urged to sign up to the Accumulo Summit website to stay abreast of updates on registration.
