Recommended tools to develop, implement, and monitor LEA and school plans to ensure high levels of CA State Standards-Aligned teaching and learning for all students.
This no-fee workshop provides participants with opportunities to examine and interact with state-recommended tools designed to develop, implement, and monitor LEA and school improvement plans. Guidance on collecting and analyzing data using state recommended tools to identify greatest areas of need, establish goals, write LEA and school plans, and measure progress will be addressed.
In this training participants will:
- Participants will learn how to analyze and collect data using the LCAP Local Needs Assessment Tool (NAT), available Local Control Funding Evaluation Rubrics, stakeholder surveys, and other recommended school and district self-assessment and progress-monitoring tools.
- Participants will learn to identify greatest areas of need, establish and prioritize goals, and write actions for LEA and School Plans.

All events are held at ACOE. Parking at ACOE is free. Note: our parking lot entrance is on Santa Clara Street.
PUBLIC TRANSIT: The closest BART station is the HAYWARD station. Several bus lines come from the BART station to the county offices. www.511.org has an accurate public transit trip planner.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Laptops or tablets are strongly recommended for all of our workshops. Many of the resources offered are digital.

No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 requires each state to establish a statewide system of intensive and sustained support and improvement for local education agencies and schools receiving Title I funding to increase opportunities for all students to meet state academic content and achievement standards. As a result, the Regional System of District and School Support (RSDSS) was established, and partners with the California Department of Education (CDE), the Comprehensive Assistance Center, and county offices of education to form the Statewide System of School Support (S4) and satisfy the requirements of NCLB. The RSDSS of Region 4 provides leadership, resources, and technical assistance to the schools, districts, and county offices of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Solano in order to increase their collective capacity to support students in meeting or exceeding the state's academic content standards.
Cancellation Policy: Registrations cancelled seven (7) working days or less prior to the workshop are assessed the full charge of the registration. If the registration is cancelled eight (8) to fifteen (15) working days prior to the workshop, a fifty percent charge is assessed. If the registration is cancelled sixteen (16) or more working days prior to the workshop, a full refund is given. ***RSDSS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule our trainings as necessary***
