Accidental Seekers, Hippies and Spirituality Enthusiasts Unite!
Event Information
Description
Are you a spiritual seeker, hippie or traveler – accidental or otherwise – interested in co-creating a more conscious Earth? Determined to live purposefully and wholeheartedly day-to-day?
If so, join us (Huffington Post bloggers Karen Talavera, founder of The Accidental Seeker and writer Beverley Golden, author of the forthcoming book Confessions of a Middle-Aged Hippie) at this event where you'll not only meet kindred spirits but also share important insights and approaches for conscious living.
This is a perfect opportunity to make meaningful connections in a small group setting at one of Portland's most authentic diners. If you're attending Chris Guillebeau's World Domination Summit (WDS), it all begins after the WDS morning session on Sunday. If you're not attending WDS, you're welcome too!
Your only cost is brunch/lunch (cash only please) :)
What We'll Do
For eons, spirituality has been the missing 4th dimension of humanity, but the truth is we are every bit as much spiritual beings as we are physical, emotional and intellectual beings. Although humanity has suppressed its essential essence (or coated it in the veneer of religion) for generations, a new period of global awakening and conscious evolution is upon us, and each of us has an important part to play in it.
We'll explore
- what *conscious wholeness* means in the modern world
- how to come out of the "spirituality closet" without sounding either woo woo or preachy OR being ridiculed
- how to incorporate spiritual/seeker values into your everyday life
You'll have ample time to eat, network and participate in our discussion, followed by a short meditation toward the end of our time together.
Whether you're a lifelong spiritual seeker, veteran hippie or have just recently experienced an awakening, this is the perfect place for you to explore the bigger picture and see how to integrate your true divine essence into conventional life. Join us!
