Accessing collaborative research funding & support - Faculty of Humanities

Would your research benefit from partnering with non-academic organisations but you're unsure of the support and funding to facilitate this in the relationship development phase?
This workshop for all Faculty of Humanities academic research staff will provide an overview of the funding mechanisms and internal support available to enable development of collaborative research, with examples of successful partnership working from each school in the Faculty.
The session will include case studies covering a range of engagement types plus a brief overview of the internal support available. We will sum up with some key ‘What Next?’ information such as current calls and their closing dates followed by a ‘clinic’ session allowing academics to speak to the BE team or to academics with experience in collaborative working for advice.
1.00-1.30: Lunch & networking
1.30-1.35: Opening and Welcome – Dr. Andrew James, Associate Dean for Business Engagement
& External Relations
1.35-3.20: Case Studies - academic speakers from each school in the faculty present for 20 minute on their succesful relationship development activities with non-academic partners and the mechanisms that suuport them.
3.20-3.30: Overview of BE support - BE team – (to include some key ‘What Next?’ information (current calls etc)
3.30: ‘Clinic’ – 1-1 advice and support for academics
