About this event

Tram Tour meets in the parking lot.

Sweetwater Wetlands Park recently acquired a ten passenger electric tram, courtesy of the Wild Spaces & Public Places half-cent sales tax! We will be offering scheduled accessibility park tours in addition to our call-ahead accessibility tour service.

Tram tours are meant to accommodate those with mobility challenges and their friends and family. If you do not require additional assistance at the park, please join us on one of our walking tours instead.

Take a guided tour at Sweetwater Wetlands Park and learn about the park's history and management, and the wildlife and plants that can be found here. Tour is free with general park admission fee ($5/vehicle).

Tour leaves at exactly the posted time. Please arrive ten minutes early. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tram tours are not recommended for toddlers and we cannot accommodate infants.

Tour availability will be posted to our website and our Facebook page prior to each event. We can accommodate up to 7 people on each tour and tickets must be booked in advance for all your guests. This tour is a mixed group tour so please understand you will be joined by other visitors and fans of our park.

Special accommodations: we offer accessibility tours to neighbors and their families who might have some mobility challenges. These tours must be booked at least one week in advanced. Please call 352-554-5871 to book an accessibility tour.
