Event description

Description

Who is this presentation for?

This presentation is geared towards parents/guardians of adolescents ages 11-18 years.

What will this presentation cover?

Adolescence is a new and exciting time in your child’s life. Along with the many new responsibilities that are coming their way, they are going to be responsible for their own health and health care quite soon. It can be difficult to know how to properly prepare your child to navigate the health care system on their own. There are many different parts to teach them about from taking care of their own health, making doctor appointments, getting prescriptions from the pharmacy, and so much more. Our aim is to help make this process a little more clear.

Each person that attends will recieve a guidebook that they can take home with them as well as the power point slides of the presentation.

Is there a cost?

This event is free and open to the public. We just ask that you please RSVP via Eventbrite so we can get an idea of how many people will be attending.

I noticed there are three different days for this presentation. Do I have to attend all three days?

No. Each day is the same presentation, so you will only need to attend one.
