The excitement I feel when I think of Destination Dauphin County and The Urban Connection, we are usually telling you about great music festivals, concerts, places to go and things to do!
It is that same excitement I have about the amazing employment opportunities right here in Central Pennsylvania.
Many of the companies, colleges, and universities we work with recruit locally, nationally and even on a global platform! The question being posed on Monday,January 21st is how do we create a consistant and powerful message that Dauphin County is a welcoming community?
Why is there a focus on Dauphin County? The answer is easy! Dauphin County is a hub providing easy access to communities in Central Pennsylvania such as Hershey, Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Carlisle and easy access to larger metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore and New York.
Why is this discussion so important? If you live in Central Pennsylvania, we want you to stay! If you’re considering relocating to Dauphin County, you will move to a community that has so much to offer!
The goal is to foster a welcoming atmosphere that embraces diversity and inclusion.
Join us for the launch of a year dedicated to creating a culturally welcoming community!
We dedicate the January 21st discussion to the life of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
