ACCESS-NRI, Australia's Climate Simulator, would like to invite you to the ACCESS Community Workshop 2024.

Climate, weather and Earth system models play a crucial role in understanding and predicting the Earth’s climate system. The ACCESS Community Workshop aims to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration around the science that uses the ACCESS models to address the complex Earth system challenges that Australia faces.

This three-day event brings together the community of users, developers and collaborators of the ACCESS Earth system models. People at all career stages are welcome, including ACCESS developers, users of ACCESS model output and people considering using ACCESS in the future.

This year, this annual event will be held in Canberra, ACT on Ngunnawal and Ngambri country and online from 3-5 of September 2024.

Interested in presenting at the workshop?

Abstract submissions for oral presentations are now closed. However, poster presentations are still open (only for people attending the workshop in person) . Poster presentations are automatically accepted, you just need to send a title, authros and organisation to: access.nri@anu.edu.au.

Virtual/hybrid options

Online attendance options will be provided, but we can’t guarantee a full hybrid engagement participation in breakout rooms, so for a better experience we encourage you to participate in person. All plenary sessions will be recorded and made available to all participants after the workshop.
