Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Psychologists/Behaviour Analysts

This workshop is designed for practitioners who are new to or unsure about using ACT in their practice.

The workshop will cover:

  • An overview of RFT and its practical implications for clinical work
  • The fundamentals of ACT, including introducing the hexaflex model
  • Practising ACT on self
  • Using ACT to support direct contingency interventions with clients
  • Ethical considerations when practising ACT as a psychologist trained in behaviour analysis

There will be 2 x BACB Continuing Education Units available for this workshop.
