Data visualization is more than just building graphs, it’s trying to determine the best way to showcase your business problems, opportunities, strategies, and growth. Learn which data visuals tell the best story, depending on your business objective.

This course is intended for anyone interested in trying to learn more from their data and share the results in a visually appealing and compelling way. Explore creative and visual data displays (graphs & tables) and identify the best Excel tools in your data storytelling toolkit.

Some experience building tables or graphs in Excel and knowledge of basic statistics (averages, range, etc.) are expected.

Instructor:

Your instructor, Amanda Swanson, is a Cross-Functional Leader & Consumer Advocate currently working at EndLease as a Sr. Manager of Customer Research. Amanda previously worked as a Manager at The Walt Disney Company, a Senior Statistician at Nestle, and a Statistician at E&J Gallo Winery.

Amanda holds a BS in Mathematics from California State University - Stanislaus, an MS in Statistics from California State University - East Bay, and an MBA from Otterbein University.
