Event description

We're excited to be coming to St. Louis for the

Accelerated Insights with Cognitive Systems Roadshow!

Learn how IBM®, working with partners like NVIDIA and Hortonworks, can help maximize the value of your data to improve customer experiences, optimize operations and increase sales.

You’re invited to a no-charge, technical briefing where we’ll introduce:

  • POWER9 & OpenPOWER: Systems built with collaborative innovation
Hear how IBM, NVIDIA and OpenPOWER foundation partners are delivering systems to handle real-time, data-driven workloads in the post CPU-only era.

  • From data lakes to data oceans and beyond
Data is the fuel for cognitive systems. Increasing data volumes drive management complexity and increase processing times. We’ll discuss how the IBM Spectrum software portfolio can help reduce management complexity while our accelerated systems can help improve the time to insight of data centric systems – whether they are running new NoSQL databases, Hadoop or Spark clusters, or accelerated, in-memory GPU databases.

  • Delivering Enterprise Class AI
Everyone’s heard of AI. Many are unsure of how to use it. We’ll discuss the most common use cases and explain how IBM is simplifying the deployment and support of common AI frameworks, like Tensorflow and Caffe, with IBM PowerAI, PowerAI Vision and Data Science Experience.

During the sessions, we'll discuss common use cases and do live demonstrations of the technologies.

The session is intended to appeal to people interested in noSQL database, Hadoop, Spark, high performance analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies from an application development, data science or infrastructure background.

The session will be composed of multiple sections. It will be a dynamic agenda with a combination of presentations, testimonials, videos and demos.

Doors open at 10:30 AM. The session will start at 11 AM. Lunch will be served during the session.
