This course is given free of charge. Registration doors will open at 7:30 AM. Training begins at 8 AM, and runs until 5 PM, with a one hour lunch break from 12 PM - 1 PM.

Participants should bring their own lunch, and also need to bring a calculator! If applicable, bring your BPI and NATE candidate IDs with you.

This is a special training program to help contractors design ductwork in accordance with ACCA Manual D and also provide guidance on identifying existing ductwork issues that may impact comfort and efficiency. Duct systems must be carefully designed and properly installed or the potential benefits that are associated with using high-efficiency equipment will not be achieved.

This comprehensive course will review proper installation procedures for newly constructed and existing ductwork. You will also learn techniques on how to identify leaking ducts and how sealing a duct run can affect airflow and static pressure.

Techinicians earn 6 NATE CEHs toward re-certification in all specialties except Refrigeration Installation, and/or 3 BPI CEUs.

This special session will help you to:

    • Offer better HVAC performance and energy efficiency
    • Learn proper duct design calculations
    • Increase customer satisfaction and comfort
    • Reduce customer complaints and callbacks
