ArtReach Academy is a series of progressive, skill-building art lessons. The goals are to ignite a passion for art making and creative expression in each individual and to provide the means for students to develop their visual art skills.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 students for individualized instruction.
PREREQUISITES: Drawing 1 is required for all ArtReach Academy students. It covers the basics of working in the studio along with drawing fundamentals that will be used in successive classes. Intermediate and advanced courses may have additional prerequisites.
Each student will complete self-assessments and work with their instructor to measure their growth. At the end of each course the instructor will recommend the next appropriate series. All students will receive their own sets of required materials to use in class and at home that are theirs to keep. All materials are included in the course fees.
Every student who participates during the 21/22 year will have the option to have at least one piece professionally framed for display at an art show in May 2022.
