Absolute Beginners - Aerial Circus Workshop (Charity Fundraiser)
Event Information
Description
Do you want to learn to do circus? Try trapeze, or climb a silk, or hang about in a hoop? Join this ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS class for all ages to try together. Brothers and sisters, mothers and daughters, uncles and cousins. This is a class for all the family to enjoy together.
£10 per person for a one hour class. This will include a group warm up and trying out a number of beginner moves on the aerial silks, the trapeze and hoop. We will then warm down together as a group.
There are lots of opportunities to take pictures for your instagram and snapchat.
The class will be taught by Aaron Twitchen, a professional circus performer. Aaron has performed at music festivals, corporate gigs and theatre tours. He was the first artist to take an aerial silk- stand up comedy fusion solo show to the Edinburgh Fringe.
This is a fundraiser as part of the Mr Gay England competition encouraging community engagement for which Aaron is a 2020 finalist. All money raised will go toward Northern Pride and the Charlie & Carter Foundation which provides financial support to the parents of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions which require 24 hour nursing care or specialist nursing facilities.
You’re never too old or young to learn new tricks - so try one of absolute beginners classes at a special one-off community event
