A limited number of bus seats are available for the roundtrip from Canastota to Clockville. If you need to ride rather than walk, please select that option during checkout.

Proceeds from the Abolition Freedom Walk will benefit the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum in Peterboro, NY and the Canal Town Museum in Canastota, NY.

7:30 am Walk Registration

8:30 am Historic Reenactment by the Canal / Sign Unveiling, Festivities

9:00 am Walk Begins! (The total route is a 5.4 mile walk 2 hours. )


10:00 am Walkers waystation

10:15 am Second Reenactment / Sign Unveiling

10:30 am Walkers set out for return to Canastota (ETA 11:30-11:45)


1:00 pm Third sign unveiled / Refreshments on the Green

Tours of the National Abolition Hall of Fame & Museum will be available.
