Description

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Alaska Airlines are proud to sponsor "Ability to Fly," an event dedicated to individuals with disabilities.

Ability to Fly is a unique opportunity for individuals with disabilities and their families to experience the airport environment and the inside of an airplane. Whether you or your family member has a physical disability, autism, or other disability, you are welcome to take advantage of this experience. All participants will check-in as if they are going to actually be taking a flight. They will go through security screening, travel through the airport before reaching their gate, and board an actual airplane.

The event is free but reservations will only be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Only registered participants with ticket confirmation(s) will be able to participate. Persons who attend the event without a reservation will not be allowed to participate.

Please read and complete the registration form(s) completely before submitting your RSVP.

As a covered entity under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Los Angeles does not discriminate on the basis of disability and, upon request, will provide reasonable accommodation to ensure equal access to its programs, services and activities. Alternative formats in large print, braille, audio, and other formats will be provided upon request.
