The third installment of Aberdeen SOUP is taking place in May 2017!
Aberdeen SOUP is a crowdfunding initiative celebrating and supporting community and creative projects in Aberdeen. For a donation £5, attendees receive food and a vote and hear up to four presentations from local people carrying out community projects. These can range from art, urban agriculture, social justice, social entrepreneurs, education, technology and more.
The format is simple;
FIVE minute presentations, from
FOUR local people, followed by
THREE questions from the audience.
At the event, attendees eat, talk, share resources, enjoy some entertainment and vote on the project they think will benefit the local area the most.
We'll have some live entertainment as well (TBC)
At the end of the night, the ballots are counted and winner goes home with all of the money raised on the night to carry out their project. Winners come back to a future SOUP dinner to report their project’s progress.
Interested in pitching on the night? Get in touch to find out how.
Please note: this is a mixed standing/seated event.
