Join AANE Child and Teen Services staff for a four-part workshop series for parents and guardians on the ins and outs of IEPs.

About this Event

Join AANE Child and Teen Services staff for a four-part workshop series for parents and guardians on the ins and outs of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with Asperger profiles.

Topics will include autism-specific considerations for the concern statement, evaluations, crafting a vision, SMART goals, the service delivery grid, responding to the IEP, and more. Participants should plan to attend all four sessions.

Join us in-person at our Watertown office or online via Zoom on:

March 9, March 23, April 13, and April 27, 2020 from 7-8:30 p.m. EST.

*Please note this workshop series will focus on the Massachusetts IEP form and state-specific guidance.

Presenters Laura Perez and Amanda Bailey draw on their knowledge from the FCSN Parent Consultant Training Institute and years of working with parents regarding special education rights and IEPs.

Financial help is available for those who require assistance. Contact stephanie.birkdale@aane.org to apply.
