Join AAM Atlanta as we learn how to maximize client referrals and discuss together where we've seen success and faced challenges in this area.
Part 1 – Presentation
Client referrals are the largest, most reliable and most cost-effective source of new clients for professional service firms, yet most firms do not have a defined process in place to maximize this opportunity for business growth.
The presentation will provide a framework and tips on how to include this important aspect into the strategic marketing and business development plan. In addition, members will gain knowledge of how to move forward with the plan, including different levels of coaching required to make the referral process an income-generating business strategy.
Part 2 – Group Discussion
Tom will lead a group discussion on the topic of referrals so come armed with your questions and ideas to share with the group.
About our presenter:
Tom Ogden is principal and founder of XPECTMarketing, a strategic marketing and business development firm specializing in professional services. Tom's 15 years as in-house marketer and business development with two accounting firms and a wealth management firm made him realize that he loves providing coaching and training staff, management and partners in the various ways to position their firm for optimum growth.
He provides training, marketing and strategic business development services to firms with and without a marketing staff. He has been active speaking throughout the Midwest for clients in professional services as well as manufacturing companies, particularly in the start up phase.
In October of 2012, Tom launched a subsidiary of XPECTMarketing that specializes in technical writing and the production of technical literature, manuals and training materials. XPECTtech focuses on high-tech manufacturing companies in start up or young manufacturers that are challenged with creating and producing these documents internally.
