AAHCC Annual Christmas Fundraiser: December 16, 2022

It is that time, once again for the Alamo Area Home Care Council’s Annual Christmas Fundraiser. This event will be held on December 16, 2022, 11am- 2pm at Marriott Hotel Northwest 410 & I10.

This year, AAHCC has chosen Abode Contemplative Care for the Dying as their Amigo. Abode is a local 501c3 organization, whose Mission is: ABODE provides a beautiful home and compassionate care for those on hospice at end of life-at no charge. We teach the art of contemplative living and dying.

The AAHCC Christmas Fundraiser is organized by volunteers from our membership which represent various disciplines of home health, hospice, medical equipment, nursing facilities, and senior residential communities throughout the San Antonio community. Donors will be recognized at the event with signage on the auction table and have their company name announced at the event by our Master of Ceremonies.

FAQs

Do I need CASH?

CASH as always is king, though checks come in a close second!  We will be accepting credit cards for raffle tickets, and the venue accepts credit cards at the bar.  However, cash or check helps the AAHCC avoid paying credit card processing fees. 

What are my parking options getting to the event?

There is a FREE and easy to find Parking Lot at Marriot Northwest. 

What should I bring to the event?

We ask that our members bring a door prize with a minimum value of $100.  These prizes go into our door prize raffle which raises thousands of dollars for our AMIGO every year.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

The quickest way to get in the event will be to have a printed ticket, or have your phone with your ticket.  We will be scanning the barcode on tickets as guests arrive.  If you do not have your ticket, then you may wait in the will call line and we can check you in by name.  

If a table is purchased, ten individual tickets will be emailed to the purchaser, these individual tickets may be distributed to the individuals who will be attending.  

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, the person with the ticket in their hand or phone will have priority over someone who checked in with their name, in the event of more than one person trying to check in for the same ticket.
