Event description

Description

Participants must commit to both training days and only need to register once (registering for one day will count for registering under both days).

Early experiences of babies shape how they approach the world and work through hardships as adults. As individuals who impact these babies, we must address the impact of trauma and stress on their health, decondition ourselves from unhealthy practices, and celebrate healthy parenting practices.

A FREE two-day training for African Americans 17 and older, where participants learn from knowledgeable speakers and discuss various topics including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES’s), historical trauma, facilitating, trauma informed care, and more! Following the training, participants who complete two community conversations of their own will receive a $150 stipend.
