AAAS Lab to Launch Live Pitching Finals
Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM (EDT)
Join the American Association for the Advancement of Science in celebrating the District of Columbia's young science and technology entrepreneurs in the culmination of the Lab to Launch Competition. Watch the finalists compete for $10,000 in total seed capital prizes as they pitch their innovations on-stage to a panel of entrepreneurship experts at AAAS on April 18.
About Lab to Launch
AAAS created Lab to Launch to identify and support promising local technology innovators by providing training, networking opportunities, and seed capital prizes: $5,000 for 1st place, $3,000 for 2nd place, and $2,000 for 3rd place.
Technology innovators from across the District submitted applications describing their business plans and technical innovations along with a two-minute pitch video. After merit-review by expert panels, six finalists were selected to advance to the Lab to Launch Finals on April 18.
