December AAA At Home

Join us at our last At Home event for 2020 in Castlecrag where we will be opening a house by architect Charlotte Fayle, principle of TARO Studio.

TARO Studio is a young practice working holistically with architecture and landscape in pursuit of a simple, pared-back Australian way of life. Charlotte Fayle and landscape designer Michael Fayle have recently completed their own family home in Castlecrag, Sydney.

Its location, adjoining a pocket of diverse bushland in Keep Reserve (originally called Keep Cabin Reserve by Marion Mahony and Walter Burley Griffin), has deeply influenced Charlotte and Michael's renovation of their bungalow which they have occupied for 8 years, since falling in love with the site. They faced the usual challenges of an Interwar bungalow - low light and poor connection to the landscape - but in resolving them, have added to the story of this house, without erasing its past

So come along and join us when we open Keep Cabin House.

Instructions 

As we are going through very difficult and challenging times with Covid-19, please understand that we have had to reduce the number of attendees, so please book early. 

All attendees will be reminded to practise social distancing of 1.5metres from one another on the day and you will be asked to use the hand sanitisers on entry to the house and masks will be required.

You are welcome to come anytime within the specified time. Event is not wheelchair accessible, children under 12 not permitted and no pets allowed. Tickets are non-refundable.
