AA Big Book “Non-Residential” Workshop focusing on Steps 5-9 and on Forgiveness led by Herb K. from Palos Verdes, CA. This workshop will delve deep into the Big Book instructions for doing Steps 5-9 and the impact of that experience on one's life. Steps 5-9 represent the completion of the healing process begun in Step 4 which is a rite of passage into emotional and spiritual maturity leading one into the World of the Spirit. This workshop will also cover key teachings and learnings on the healing process of Forgiveness via the 12 steps. Please note that this is not an FA sponsored event and should not be announced at FA meetings.
Who Should Come:
ALL who are interested in improving the quality of their emotional life; especially those in any 12 Step Fellowship.
Workshop Cost, Schedule, and Rooms:
The total cost of this entire weekend is $45 (includes presenter's expenses, processing fees, etc.) PLEASE plan to attend the entire weekend to benefit from the full experience.
Friday – 3/31, 7-9:00pm, Education 2 & 3 – Review Steps 1-4
Saturday – 4/1, 10am-4pm, Education 2 & 3 – Present Steps 5-8
Sunday – 4/2, 1pm-4pm, Education 1 – Present Step 9 and “Forgiveness”

Who is Herb K.?
Herb K. is an author, a sponsor, he provides spiritual direction and leads Twelve Step workshops and retreats throughout the world. In his book “Twelve Steps to Spiritual Awakening” Herb shares his insights using his own experience of traditional and 12 Step spirituality. What should I bring to the event?
Big Book 4th edition, notebook, pen and your own lunch or snacks.
What if I can only come to one day?
PLEASE plan to attend the entire weekend to benefit from the full experience. You must pay for the entire weekend to attend any of the days.
What are my food options?
There will be a 45-minute break for lunch on Saturday. You can bring your own lunch. We'd recommend you bring a lunch you do not have to microwave. There is a cafeteria in the hospital located on the 2nd floor and a cafe located on the 1st floor in the main lobby. We start at 1 p.m. on Sunday so you should eat lunch before the workshop begins.

Can I pay at the door or via check or money order?

Can my payment be refunded?
If you can not attend it is possible to get a refund before March 17, 2017. No refunds after March 17, 2017. Please contact the event organizer at email@example.com if you can not attend once you have registered.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Drive: The Holy Cross Hospital parking garage is located to the left of the main hospital entrance. Valet parking is available at the main entrance. Holy Cross Hospital charges for parking on our campus. Patients and visitors receive the first 30 minutes of parking free up to a maximum of $7 per day. It is also very possible to find free off street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
Metro: Forest Glen (on the red line) is the closest Metro rail stop (located at 9730 Georgia Avenue) to Holy Cross Hospital.
Walk: The hospital is an eight-minute walk from the Forest Glen Metro. From the Metro, walk toward Forest Glen Road. Turn right on Forest Glen Road. Walk for 0.4 mile. The hospital will be on your right.
Ride On Bus #8: Montgomery County Ride On bus #8 stops directly in front of the main entrance of Holy Cross Hospital. Passengers may take the Ride On bus from the Forest Glen Metro to the hospital, which is just five blocks east of the metro station. Please download the schedule for Ride On bus #8, where you'll find special notes about the service to and from Holy Cross Hospital. There is no bus service on Sundays, and holiday bus service schedules vary.
