AIGA KC presents A15 Design Awards Gala & Exhibition

Join us on September 27th for a night of fun, food and fantastic design. In this, the 30th year of our chapter, we invite you to participate and take pride in the excellence that is Kansas City design.

7pm: Sponsor VIP Entry
7:30pm: GA Entry, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, mingling & gallery viewing
8:30pm: A15 Design Awards presentation

The celebration continues after the awards with drinks, dessert, dancing and tunes. Tickets include admission, open bar, food, A15 design winners catalogue, AIGA KC gifts & more night-of surprises.

Where do you recommend parking?

Downtown Kansas City offers plenty of public parking options to accommodate all your needs. The Grand Hall at Power & Light has convenient streetcar access that we recommend to guests if they prefer not to park Downtown. We would recommend taking an Uber or Lyft due to the venue being downtown with limited parking. Please click here for a detailed listing of downtown parking.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is a professional design gala, not geared towards children. Students are welcome. The minimum legal drinking age is 21. Use your best judgement. Hire a babysitter for the night. Bring your ID just in case. We'll call you an Uber if you need it. Have fun.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Street parking around the venue is free. We would recommend taking an Uber or Lyft due to being downtown with limited parking.

What should I wear?

Attire is anything fun for an evening cocktail event. Not too fancy, not too casual, but whatever you are comfortable in. Don't forget your dancing shoes!
