Event Details

 

During the workshop students will learn how to develop characters using the art of

 

long-form improvisation. In the second half, students will apply their new characters

 

using puppetry.

 

The class is broken down into two separate parts:

 

Part 1:

 

Will focus on teaching the students proper stage puppetry techniques, and how to
perform their puppet in front of a live audience, using the famous Henson Muppet
style of manipulation.

 

PART2:

 

Will be focused on character development, and combining human/puppet interaction,

 

in long-form improv scene work.

 

 

 

Students participating in this class must have an understanding of long-form

 

improvisation. No puppet knowledge is needed. The students will receive one FREE

 

fully assembled ©2013 The Josh and Tamra Show - Sock Puppet.

 

All teachers and coaches are currently scheduled to appear. All workshop fees and apprentice team fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
