A Workshop to Discuss Higher Education

Discussion will include consultation guidance for tribes on the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) consultation plan and what it means for our state. In addition, best practices and resources will be shared to empower the work you do with American Indian students that assist them to be college and career ready!
Whether the students you work with are in elementary or middle school, getting ready to graduate high school, or already in college, this is the workshop for you! Space is limited, please register. Who should attend? You should attend if you oversee the Tribal Education Department in your tribe, or if you are a postsecondary education professional, or a school or district staff who is responsible for college and career readiness. Others are always welcomed, especially tribal leaders
Parking is in the West Stadium parking garage, located on the top level. Parking is not included in the FREE event.
Food & Service is located on the 2nd floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.
