Description
Professor David Smythe, Emeritus Professor of Geophysics at the University of Glasgow, will give an illustrated talk on the dangers presented to local communities across the UK (and specifically at Leith Hill) by unconventional oil and gas extraction. We are incredibly happy to have secured Dr Smythe as a speaker and to bring his huge depth of knowledge and experience to this pressing local issue. Prefessor Smythe worked for many years at the British Geological Survey and as an advisor to the oil industry.
