RELAX - LET GO - RECONNECT
A retreat is an opportunity to remove yourself from the stresses of your everyday life and immerse yourself in a reflective, soulful experience in a serene, beautiful place. It’s a chance to relax, let go, and perhaps even discover or rediscover what's most important under the guidance of experienced teachers committed to holding a powerful space.
Leave it all behind for a brief but potent yoga and mindfulness weekend. Spending this time together with the intention of accessing our inner wisdom, we will open with centering practices that will help us let go of our stories and patterns. We will move our bodies through a specifically designed series of classes that will physically and emotionally release tension and old habits so we can make room for what’s next and invite in renewal. Let this weekend getaway return you to your life rejuvenated and ready to re-experience the world with gratitude and love. This retreat is a chance for you to re-calibrate and re-connnect to yourself. All levels practitioners are invited and welcome—including those brand new to the practice.
Please bring your own yoga mat. There will be meditation cushions (zafus and zabutons) available, but feel free to bring your own.
Check-in is on Friday at 5pm, Check-out is on Sunday at 2pm.
We will be retreating at the beautiful Buddhist retreat center, Land of Medicine Buddha. LMB is just 90 minutes from San Francisco. Located on 108 acres of ancient redwood groves and sunny oak meadows, LMB is a pristine and beautiful location set in the Santa Cruz Mountains that will delight you with its exquisitely peaceful surroundings. While there, enjoy delicious vegetarian meals, treat yourself to a massage, hike the 8-Verses trail and the Enchanted Forest, spend time alone or with friends, soak in a hot tub or take a swim in a spring water filled pool. This will be your time to spend being nourished inside and out.
