We are She Goat.

Eugénie and Shamira.

We make art, live shows, theatre, music, digital stuff… you might know all about that.

This is not any of those (not exactly).

This is definitely not our new She Goat show.

This is a lecture.

But that doesn’t mean it won’t be fun!

She Goat recently underwent a process to develop our creative practice, funded by Arts Council England through a grant called ‘Develop Your Creative Practice’.

We set out to reimagine our working system through research into fundraising, access needs, and expanding where we work and who we work with.

This lecture tells the story of why we applied, what we needed to change and what we found out.

We want to share those learnings now, with our community.

And if you’re reading this because we sent it to you…

Or if you came across this invite randomly, but you are bold, brave and generous enough to show up…

Guess what? You are in that community.

We can’t wait to deliver a lecture, like the Very Serious People we are.

Expect: hot takes, conundrums, pie charts, us trying our best.

Don’t expect: us to repeat this (you snooze, you lose!)

Why attend? We can think of at least three reasons.
