The workshop will take place at “Techne Restaurant & Social” on October 6th and aims to create awareness on sustainable gastronomy and the sustainability values in general. The participants will have the chance to learn new ways of saving food, explore creative methods of cooking fresh and raw food in an open kitchen guided by a professional chef and they will be trained on how to minimize food waste. During the workshop, what really matters for the participants is to recognize the values of recycling, reducing and reusing in gastronomy, to learn new, easy-to-make, everyday cooking recipes and above all, to feel part of a team. A sustainable professional kitchen isn’t related only to recycling food packaging and using food in a smart way, but it enhances teamwork, collectiveness and the human relations in general.

During this experiential workshop, the Executive Chef Yiannis Michalopoulos will introduce to participants the value of sustainable cooking and after its completion, they will dine all together and enjoy their culinary creations.
