Produced by Southern Shakespeare Company and Tallahassee Community College for five years running, A Town Divided brings star-crossed drama to the Capital City as it follows Rob, a boy from the northside, and Juelle, a girl from the southside, after they fall in love at a Shakespeare in the Park performance.
Inspired equally by Shakespeare and interviews with local Tallahasseeans about their experiences of race relations, this powerful play sparks valuable conversations about local culture, conflict resolution, and literature alike.
Please note that the Friday 1 PM performance is followed by a talkback with commenters, experts, and cast members immediately after the show.
Join us at Turner Auditorium on TCC's campus for a 50-minute show, and be in touch about how we can help you meet your learning goals! Education Director and theater director Jason Chimonides: jason@southernshakes.org
