As the new year approaches, we at T9 Mastered wanted to pause to appreciate you — those who work in the Title IX arena. As Title IX investigators and hearing officers ourselves, we know first-hand how hard this work is and how secondary trauma affects us and our colleagues.

For this webinar, we turned to Dr. Brenda Ingram, a trauma expert, to look at ways we can do more to stay healthy in 2023.

In this online workshop, Dr. Ingram will present an approach to workforce wellness that integrates the principles of trauma-informed care into the work culture to support the well-being of Title IX professionals. She will discuss:

• The connection between working in an environment that listens to trauma stories and the quality of work and home life for Title IX professionals

• Techniques to foster wellness for ourselves and our co-workers

• The shifting paradigm toward trauma-informed organizations

• How organizational support for the workforce plays out in practical terms

• Ways to build wellness into organizations of higher learning

Dr. Brenda Ingram is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, USC Keck School of Medicine.
