About this event
In this two times 2.5-hour sessions (so in total 5-hour workshop) you work with a group of inspiring people and a professional storyteller to develop the tools you need to tell an engaging story.
Storytelling is an ancient artform that helps to connect differently with the world around you.

Do you want to know how to use the art of storytelling to uplevel your personal and artistic life, your career and your social life? How to tell stories that make the people in the room be glued to your mouth?
No matter if you already have experience in creating stories or if you are completely new to this field, this workshop is for you.
This workshop takes part in two sessions on two evenings in the same week in december. On Monday evening ,12th of december, Berber, a professional storyteller from Amsterdam, will provide you with all the necessary tools and skills you need to learn how to develop your own stories from scratch.
In between the sessions you will be able to apply your new skills on your own stories and bring them to the second session.
On thursday, the 15th of december, you get the chance to share them with the others and get profound feedback from Berber an your fellow participants.
In this workshop you will:
• Learn how to develop catching and engaging stories from scratch
• Get the necessary tools and inspirations for writing and presenting your stories for either personal or professional uses
• be offered tools how to improve your storytelling skills
• learn by listening and giving feedback
• hear inspiring stories from Berber and your fellow participants
• work with personal stories, myths & folktales
• receive profound feedback on your work
• connect with likeminded people
About the storyteller:
Berber has been working as a professional storyteller for the last seven years. She performs in theaters, festivals, public events and regularly at the Mezrab: House of Stories. She uses stories as a way to connect with herself and others in a healing way. She went to theater school in Brussels and the Mezrab Storytelling school in Amsterdam. She was taught by Sahand Sahabdevani & Farnoosh Farnia (Iran) Raphael Rodan (Israel) and Tania Castro (Peru).
