A Stand Up Guy
From 1978 to 1982 FBI Agent Vincent C. Wincelowicz worked undercover in New York City. His assignment was to infiltrate the New York Mafia. During this assignment, he had direct dealing with the Gambino Family, as well as other well known Mafia Families. Getting the Gambino Family to accept him into their organization was dangerous and took many hours of undercover work, and he was able to be introduced into the group by an FBI informant. He later became an understudy of a major fence, Jack Mace, which further allowed him to penetrate the organization.
The 9 ½ years that he spent undercover later earned him the title of Chief of Undercover and Sensitive Operations for the FBI. Agent Wincelowicz (Retired) will be sharing his experiences during the New York Mafia operation with us.
Join us as he gives his presentation, “A Stand Up Guy,” at the Lakewood Police Department.
