About this event
The A Space Between art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans gallery focuses on shadows, negative space, and often overlooked components of a scene. After two years separated by literally six feet—and many centuries of burying loved ones six feet under—the concept of space gave artists a chance to explore themes of isolation beyond the physical separations of our shared experience.
Register now for a reminder to join us on opening day: Friday, August 5 between 12-9pm for the widest selection of artwork. A reminder email will be sent by Eventbrite two days in advance and again on opening day.
Multiple workshops have been scheduled throughout the month. Details and workshop registration is at DelRayArtisans.org/workshops.
The A Space Between exhibit runs August 5-27, 2022 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. Gallery hours are First Thursday (Apr-Sept) 12-9pm, Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed on Sunday, August 28, 2022).
Face masks are recommended while inside the gallery. The gallery is free, open to the public, and accessible.
