About this event

Enter the world of the EOS and macro photography. We will help you feel comfortable with what macro photography is and build a foundation of understanding to master the world of small. Learn how to become more creative with the world around you and enhance your photographic expression. You will see many examples of great photography and learn techniques to improve how you use your camera as a creative tool in the macro world.During this class you will:

• Become familiar with the tools needed to approach macro photography including extension tubes, close up lenses and macro lenses.

• Get a better understanding of why specific macro tools may be more appropriate for your subject.

• Review exposure settings and their practical impact in close-up photography.

This class will talk about Canon lenses in regards to macro photography, but the concepts of macro photography can be applied to any camera or lens.

About presenter: Peter Lee has over a decade of experience working with Canon’s printers and imaging products before he joined the camera product educator team in 2013. As a Canon technical representative, he is a passionate teacher and enjoys interacting with everyone from full time professionals to beginners. He enjoys various genres of photography including: architecture, aerospace, food, landscape, portraiture, macro, sports and travel.
