ASG Intensive Learning Opportunity
with Peter Block
The Intensive is designed as an all-day learning experience and practice for people who want to deepen their understanding of engagement and the Six Conversations. This is an opportunity to learn from Peter Block how to take a greater role in bringing the ideas of engagement into your community.
At the Intensive, our focus will be "High Engagement Gatherings: Designing the Conversation for Action.”
We will explore:
Matching the level of small group engagement with the purpose of gathering
Giving people the protocols to use small groups every place they go, especially people working in community projects and work.
Creating a new normal for meetings. Too many meetings about community keep the speaker in front and citizens lined up in straight rows like sardines. We are calling an end to straight rows.
Recommended Pre-work: If you are new to the A Small Group gatherings, we highly recommend that you attend a monthly gathering and/or read the Civic Engagement booklet (download for free) to begin the process of entering the space.
Please join us and spend the day with Peter!
Donation Requested: The suggested donation is $35 (includes lunch) and your time and commitment. Pay at the door with cash or a check issued to: Ira Block Foundation. To keep our costs down, we ask that you bring a breakfast item, snack or beverage to share with the group.
RSVP today to reserve your seat.
