Join the Shorty Awards, @HealthJoinIn and 4th Annual Shorty Awards #SocialFitness winner, Take A Challenge's Christopher Brisley as we start the day out properly with an hour long #ShortyRun in Central Park to support his Indiegogo campaign. We will be meeting by the USS Maine Monument at 59th St and Central Park West (here's where you can find the monument). We look forward to seeing you Wednesday for a great energy filled run (click here for weather updates)!

As you prepare for the 6am run, make sure you go and sign up for @HealthJoinIn's WellPower (an app that measures your overall health based on your activity on Facebook and in real life) so you can get #socialfitness credit for waking up early to come and support Take A Challenge! chrisChristopher Brisley (@takeachallenge) is the 4th Annual #SocialFitness Shorty Award winner and the founder of Take a Challenge, an organization that encourages others to keep pushing to their mental and physical goals. Ten years after being medically discharged from the Royal Navy for chronic respiratory disease, he has ran, swam, and biked over 6,500 miles. You can watch Christopher accepting his Shorty Award below.

meganMeg Costello (@megcostello) is the business development director at Greatist, the trusted health & fitness source for the young, savvy, and social. She's also a health education student at Columbia University, foodie and lover of travel, the great outdoors, sports & people.

Stephanie Tsoflias (@stephtsoflias) is an on-air TV news reporter for WPIX New York City and the creator of My Almost Married Life, an extremely successful blog she started with her live-in boyfriend and stand up comedian Dave Siegel. She spends her days covering major national news events including Hurricane Sandy, the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting, the Anthony Weiner scandal, Hurricane Irene and the hunt for the Long Island serial killer.  She also produces and hosts a crime prevention segment called ‘Know Your Enemy’ and reports for the 5p and 10p news.

standupdaveDave Siegel (@StandUpDaveis a writer and stand-up comedian in New York City and runs My Almost Married Life with Stephanie. He has performed at premier comedy clubs across the country from the Laugh Factory, on Sunset to Carolines on Broadway. He has been featured on Comedy Central, The Joy Behar Show and Standup with Pete Dominck on Sirius XM. He is also a part-time writer for CNN on the staff of ‘Erin Burnett: OutFront’.

Daniel Roesler (@Fitocracy) is the CTO of Fitocracy he grew up Texas, where his fitness life was primarily outdoors. He is always exploring new places and is an experienced backpacker, sailor, and water skier. After graduating from the University of Texas in chemical engineering, he began running with social clubs and completed his first marathon in 2011. When he can find the extra time and space, Daniel loves to homebrew wheat beers. Prior to Fitocracy, Daniel worked as a project engineer for Clean Air Engineering.

Katie Rosenbrock (@Hungry_Runneris a personal trainer, swim instructor, lifeguard, runner and food enthusiast. Katy is also the Health & Fitness writer for her blog the Hungry Runner. She will also be attending the 5th Annual Shorty Awards a result of winning Greatist's social competition for the #ShortyRun.

Tara Fuller (@Tarasophis the Director of Editorial at Charity Miles, an app that allows people to earn donations as they run, walk, or bike. She is also a health and fitness enthusiast with a background in writing, editing, and social media.She will also be attending the 5th Annual Shorty Awards a result of winning Greatist's social competition for the #ShortyRun.
