Event description

Description

This uniquely designed 5 session Saturday retreat series invites the renewal of heart, mind and spirit through exploration of the inner landscape. In large group, small group and individual settings, each participant will be invited to open their heart through the use of poetry, short readings, art, music and journaling. This year’s focus will be on deeoping and deepening personal meditative practice through writing, body work, reflection and dialogue in community,

Each session will by guided by key touchstones from the Center for Courage and Renewal, the practices of asking open, honest questions, listening deeply and noticing and naming paradox in our lives. We will use the metaphors of each season as a way of exploring personal, vocational and life questions.

These experiences are a part of the Circle of Trust approach to renewal and reflection. Participants are invited to slow down, listen and reflect in quiet and focused spaces. At the same time, we will engage within a small community and, through our interactions with each other, deepen the trust within our Circle.

Retreats are scheduled to develop a community of practice that includes participants from North Carolina and South Carolina, Each session will be designed around seasonal metaphors. Because of our focus on deepening our work and expanding our trust, prioroty it is requested that registrants attend all sessions, Information regarding accommodations for overnight lodging will be provided after registration,
