A Safe Harbour for SA: Risk and Resilience for Small Businesses

We're delighted to extend you an exclusive invitation to an inspiring evening as part of Small Business Week 2025 - South Australia; and in support of the COSBOA Roadshow.

South Australia's small business community continues to weather the storm - from algal blooms and drought to export and economic pressures.

Our theme for discussion is vulnerable industries and particularly risk and resilience strategies for our rural, coastal and tourism businesses navigating uncertainty.

This networking event is hosted by the ABRT - a NFP body and special interest group of business advisory professionals and industry specialists (proudly supporting Beyond Blue NASBO). We'll bring together:

  • Small and family business owners
  • Legal, accounting/tax and finance professionals
  • Lenders, investors and entrepreneurs
  • Professional associations, Government, industry stakeholders

What to Expect

Complimentary nibbles, platters and drinks courtesy of South Australian family businesses - Vilis Family Bakery, Gin tasting by Hidden Trove, selected wine by Mr Riggs, German-style craft bier by Hahndorff Brewing Co.

A short introduction about the ABRT, COSBOA and the Family Business Association (FBA) with an update on the state of play in South Australia - topical issues impacting the small business community.

Keynote discussion with the entertaining Henry Olonga on courage, reinvention and resilience (world-class cricketer, political bravery, singer: the Voice Australia, broadcaster and story teller).
