A Roadmap for Thriving Communities in Maryland
Overview
Most Marylanders want the same things for our families and communities. We want to be paid fairly for our work so that we can put food on the table and meet our families' needs. We want our kids to get a great education and have access to recreation opportunities. We want safe communities, with roads and transit service that help get us where we need to go.
Too often, policy choices in Annapolis, influenced by the wealthy and powerful few, make it harder for our families to get ahead. And everyday Marylanders are often left out of the conversation.
Join the Maryland Center on Economic Policy in Cambridge the evening of Tuesday, November 18, for a conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing our state. Share your perspectives about what would improve your community and help shape a policy agenda that will be shared with policymakers in Annapolis.
We are hosting several conversations in regions across the state, as well as a virtual version of this event. See mdeconomy.org/events for other scheduled community conversations.
