Event description
A Pop of Color, featuring the River City Mixed Chorus - March 28 - 7:05 PM

About this Event

After a long hiatus, RCMC is excited to return to the Joslyn Art Museum’s Witherspoon Concert Hall stage in a performance that intentionally celebrates the strong and enduring partnership of these two amazing Omaha arts organizations. This concert will be a feast for both your ears and eyes as songs from the musical theater and pop genres that celebrate art and color and tell stories through visualization and landscapes are paired with visual works of art focused on self-expression, identity, and each person’s ability to create their own world through artistic expression. In addition to artwork from the Joslyn’s permanent collection, A Pop of Color will also incorporate self-portraits from local LGBTQ+ youth. This is a truly unique and special event that you will not want to miss!

Attendees are invited to arrive at 6 pm to visit the galleries and see art featured in the performance. Docents will be on hand to answer questions, and a cash bar will be available in the Storz Fountain Court.
