PMI Lakeshore Chapter Dinner Presentation -Special Christmas Celebration Dinner Event!

"Reaching Beyond Project Management in the Workplace - Applying PMP skills as a basketball house league convenor for the love of the game!"

* Register before December 7th, 2016

Dinner Meeting Agenda:

We have all heard various presentations on scheduling, negotiations, better communication, teamwork and leadership skills; all highly valuable and sought after characteristics for a project manager to possess. Day in and day out, we use these skills every day in the workplace, to the extent that they become innate qualities we carry over into our everyday lives. How can we reach beyond our work-lives to use our skills to enrich the lives of families in our own communities? In the spirit of "Giving Back", an illustrated example will be presented on how I have applied my skills as a basketball house league convenor through the use of the 5 Process Groups: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control and Closeout. The end result was something spectacular! Find out what I did, how I did it and what it means to you?

Speaker - Ryan Shkopiak:

Ryan is a Project Manager with STT Enviro Corp, an engineering company that designs and provides bulk chemical handling, storage and make down systems for end customers in municipal sectors, the oil & gas, and mineral & mining.
