SEE ASPIRING BRIDGEPORT FOOD ENTREPRENEURS IN ACTION!

TAKE PART IN A FOOD EXPERIENCE THAT SUPPORTS ASPIRING CHEFS ENROLLED IN 12-WEEK CULINARY TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN BRIDGEPORT.


JOIN US FOR THE DAY, COME LEARN, EAT AND MINGLE!


A Pinch of Salt: The Restaurant Edition, a culinary training pilot 100% voluntarily operated by Chef Raquel Rivera-Pablo in effort to help aspiring chefs get closer to their goals! This 12-week culinary training course is free to Bridgeport residents interested in pursuing a career in the culinary field. Guests can join our class for the day to engage in a culinary experience: learn culinary techniques, help in the preparation of a meal with students, and then sit together to enjoy the meal by one of our aspiring chefs.

Each week a different aspiring chef will prepare a menu item that he or she dreams on serving on their very own food truck or restaurant! Ticket holders will also partake in the hands-on preparation of the meal, learn basic culinary skills, and interact with participants of the class while sampling their featured menu item!

The goal of A Pinch of Salt: The Restaurant Edition is to train students in the culinary field to build real skills, but also to tie the community into those classes to build networks and friendships that will support future local Bridgeport businesses.

The course will be held at Milano's Wine Bar & Pizzeria in downtown Bridgeport every Sunday at 1pm from August 13-October 29, 2017.
