A Gentle Mah Jongg Tournament & Social Play for Friends, Fun & Philanthropy
Have you been curious about tournaments? Are you a newer mah jongg player? Do you want to spend the day in a lovely venue meeting new mah jongg friends? Then this is the event for you!
This is a gentle tournament for newer players or those just new to tournaments. Tournament rules and strategy will be reviewed at the beginning of the event. There's also space for social only players if you prefer to do that. Tournament players will play 4 rounds, with a cumulative score, and will be eligible for payouts and special prizes. Social players will be eligible for prizes too. This is a great way to say goodbye to the 2022 card while trying out a tournament for the first time. You may just get hooked!

Dragons on the Green Mah Jongg is a not for profit 501(c)(3) oganization. EIN # 81-1453697. We raise funds for charitable organizations through the hosting of Mah Jongg tournaments and providing lessons on how to play Mah Jongg. The tournaments and classes are a mechanism for people of all ages to come together and enjoy themselves, use their cognitive skills, and socialize to enhance their well-being.
