A conversation with Nordic Noir star KATRINE ENGBERG

About this Event

Join MADRID BOOKIE and publishers MAEVA for a very noir evening with crime fiction novelist KATRINE ENGBERG. We dive into her new book The Butterfly House / El Juego de la Mariposa and talk about plotting murder and mayhem in Copenhagen. Katrine will tell us about her extraordinary career and how she writes crime fiction with a social edge.

Former dancer and choreographer KATRINE ENGBERG launched a stunning career in crime fiction with her breakthrough debut, The Tenant (La Estrategia del Cocodrilo). Her bestselling Copenhagen series has turned her into one of the most prolific and acclaimed crime fiction authors in Denmark and her books are sold in over twenty-five countries. She has been nominated for several awards, including the prestigious MARTHA award in her home country.

Katrine Engberg will be interviewed by Madrid Bookie co-founder, author and entrepreneur VANESSA FABIANO.

This special event is hosted in collaboration with MAEVA Noir to celebrate the Spanish publication of El Juego de la Mariposa.

February 25th at 8pm CET

Tickets: 5 Euros.
