A Night with Mics

You are invited to spend an evening with seasoned recording engineers and music producers exploring some of the different microphones that are used to capture the sounds that lead to great recordings.

Hosted by Blue Sprocket Sound and BeARcade Music Productions, this event will include a discussion of the main "types" of microphones used in recording studios (and live stages too), a blind vocal mic "shoot-out" between some of the mics discussed, and a chance to pick the brains of the individuals who use these tools day in and out. Whether you are an aspiring recordist looking to expand their knowledge, or just a curious musician who would like to know what that thing in front of them is all about, come and join us for an interesting evening.

Light refreshments will be provided, so plan to come mingle with other like minded individuals!
