Event description

Description

2020 is an especially joyful time for THRIVEGulu as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary! THRIVEGulu has seen a lot of transformation and expansion, with tens of thousands of lives being changed for the better. THRIVE has become a leading trauma-recovery in Northern Uganda for trauma recovery, providing mental health counseling, economic empowerment and literacy education to survivors of war.

May 9th, 2020 will be a highlight of our Anniversary Year as we celebrate with a Founders Gala and orchestra concert as a featured “Community Partner” of the Longwood Symphony Orchestra. As an organization that provides Mental Health & Psychosocial Support to survivors of war in Northern Uganda, we have the opportunity to showcase the incredible, life-impacting work of THRIVEGulu while enjoying the splendor of Beethoven and Mozart.

We hope you can join us for a spectacular program of music, as well as for a pre-concert gala, featuring hors d'oeuvres, raffles and more.
